Higher education is an important sector in Massachusetts and is represented by colleges such as Harvard University, Wellesley College, Brandeis University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Agricultural exports for Massachusetts include seafood, cranberries, dairy products and nursery stock.
