Industrial products include food processing, electric equipment, machinery and printing and publishing. Nebraska does have a high tech sector as well as telecommunications and insurance companies. Nebraska Tourism and Recreation
Because Nebraska is considered a Plains state, outdoor activities and sports are the primary sources of recreation including fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. Nebraska has several points of interest tended by the National Parks Service including the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, The Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail, the Oregon National Historic Trail, the Pony Express National Historic Trail, the Chimney Rock National Historic Site, the Homestead National Monument of America, the Agate Fossil Beds National Monument and the Scotts Bluff National Monument.
