South Carolina Tourism and Recreation
South Carolina’s primary form of sports is its affiliation with NASCAR where thousands flock each year to the Darlington Raceway. Beach life and playing golf are favorite activities for this fair weather state in famous places such as Hilton Head Island, Myrtle Beach and Kiawah Island. South Carolina has its fair share of amusement parks and entertainment venues as well as state parks and lake areas perfect for fishing, camping, canoeing and riding horses. And although there is no legalized betting in the state, South Carolina is proud of its thoroughbred horses and conducts races at several locations around the state. The northern part of the state is more mountainous and even offers a waterfall or two to make the scenery even more spectacular.
As it says in South Carolina’s state slogan, "Smiling Faces, Beautiful Places," that’s surely what you will find as you explore buying South Carolina real estate.
