Kim Smith, broker/owner of WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Team Metro in Hickory, became a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in 1995. A year later, she earned her Broker’s license, and in 1998 was named Broker-In-Charge of the independent agency known as Team Metro. When Team Metro joined the Weichert® franchise network in 2005, Kim became an owner. As broker/owner, she manages the many day-to-day activities required to operate a prosperous real estate office, including agent training.

She has earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation, e-PRO certification (the official technology certification program of the National Association of REALTORS®), the QSC (Quality Service Certification) and SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification).
Kim is an active member of The Catawba Valley Association of REALTORS® (CVAR), serving as a Director from 2005-2009, 2011-2012 and as President during 2008 and 2011. In 2004, she was named “Committee Chairperson of the Year,” by the organization, and in 2009, she earned the honor of “Realtor® of the Year.”
