Average home prices appear to be trending upwards in the Georgia real estate market. While the average single family home was listed at $230,000 in January, the 484 new homes listed in March helped raise that average to $250,000. In the condo/townhouse market there were 153 new units for sale last month and the average price jumped from $145,000 in January to $164,000 in March. Whether this is a seasonal effect or a sign of sunnier times ahead isn't clear yet, Georgia real estate remains favorable to buyers and there are great deals available all over the state.
