This part of the city is reasonably quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be problematic close to West Seattle Freeway. Lastly, this area also features a fair amount of greenery; green spaces, like Schmitz Park and Hiawatha Playfield, are very well-distributed and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to enjoy, making them easy to access from numerous locations within this neighborhood.
