Ardenwood offers a calm environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, it is easy to access green spaces from most locations within the neighborhood, since there are a few of them close by for residents to enjoy and most homes for sale have a park close by.

The main housing types in Ardenwood are single detached homes and townhouses. This neighborhood has a variety of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around two thirds of the population of this neighborhood own their home while the remainder are renters. Most of the housing growth in this neighborhood happened between 1980 and 1990.

House buyers in Ardenwood will welcome that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. There are also a few options for those who value close by restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, house owners will welcome the proximity to primary schools, which are within walking distance from most homes for sale in Ardenwood.
