Although the neighborhood is not home to any green spaces, parks are especially well-situated in nearby neighborhoods, making them easy to reach. It is relatively quiet in this part of the city, as there are very few people out and about on the streets.
In Bankhead Courts, most of the dwellings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings. About half of homes in this part of Atlanta were built pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s. This neighborhood has a selection of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
