Bedminster is a township located within New Jersey, United States.
Bedminster is reasonably good for those who like quiet surroundings, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - however some areas can be quite loud, especially close to Interstate 287, Interstate 78 or the airport (Somerset Airport). It is very hard to access green spaces from the majority of locations in the township since they are distributed sparsely. Despite that, there are a few parks close by for residents to explore.
In Bedminster, about one third of the dwellings are townhouses, whereas the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings, small apartment buildings, and single detached homes. This township has a good selection of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About 80% of the dwellings in the township are occupied by home owners while the remainder are rented. Most housing in this township was built in the 1980s, during its main housing boom.
A portion of property owners in this township may have the option to do their grocery shopping on foot, while others will have to rely on a vehicle. There are also about 30 restaurants and coffee shops in Bedminster. In terms of education, high schools and primary schools are not very plentiful in this township, and therefore not always within walking distance. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
Bedminster is an extraordinarily good township for driving. Most houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Interstate 78, and it is very convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in Bedminster is not very frequent. Traveling on foot is not very practical for residents in Bedminster because very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
