Part of the Tampa - St. Petersburg metropolitan area, Big Bend is a neighborhood in New Port Richey, Florida.

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Big Bend. Although this area does not contain any parks, public green spaces are especially well-located in nearby neighborhoods, making them easy to access. The noise levels in this part of New Port Richey are also quite low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.

In Big Bend, most of the dwellings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings, duplexes, and mobile homes. Most homes in this part of the city were constructed between 1960 and 1980, during its latest housing boom. This neighborhood has a choice of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The population residing in this part of the city is evenly split between renters and owners.

A supermarket is generally reachable within a reasonably short walk from most properties for sale in Big Bend. As far as education is concerned, locals will welcome that no matter where their house is situated in this neighborhood, primary as well as high schools are close by.

Getting around by car is very convenient in Big Bend. Finding a place to park is quite easy. However, Big Bend is not particularly well-suited for walking since few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
