Cherry Creek, Columbus

The neighborhood of Cherry Creek is located in the city of Columbus, Ohio.

People who prefer a calm ambience will enjoy Cherry Creek. This part of the city is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are quite tranquil - although that is not the case close to the railway line. Lastly, although Cherry Creek does not contain any public green spaces, parks are especially well-spread out in nearby neighborhoods, which makes it easy to reach them.

Over half of the housing stock of Cherry Creek consists of single detached homes and small apartment buildings, whereas the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings. Roughly 45% of properties in this area were built between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s. This area offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Renters occupy about two thirds of the units in Cherry Creek while owners occupy the remainder.

The closest supermarket in this part of the city is generally only a reasonably short walk away. There are also a few opportunities for those who cherish close by restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, it is a rather short walk to get to both primary and secondary schools from any location in Cherry Creek.

Cherry Creek is an extraordinarily good part of Columbus for traveling by car. It is easy to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighborhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Cherry Creek is not especially well-suited for walking as many daily needs are occasionally challenging to carry out without the use of a car.
