It is relatively calm in Copper Hill, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians. Public green spaces are spread out sparsely, which results in them being rather challenging to reach from a large number of locations within this part of Jacksonville. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to unwind in.

In Copper Hill, the vast majority of buildings are single detached homes, and small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. A majority of the housing growth in this part of the city has taken place since the year 2000. This neighborhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Home owners occupy roughly 80% of the properties in Copper Hill and 20% are rented.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighborhood. In terms of food, accessing the nearest grocery store on foot is possible for some, but not all, property owners in Copper Hill.
