Crestwood, Portland

The neighborhood of Crestwood is located in the city of Portland, Oregon.

Crestwood offers a relaxed atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to Baldock Freeway. Lastly, green spaces, such as Woods Memorial Park and Dickinson Park, are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover, which makes them easy to reach.

The properties in this part of Portland are quite old, since roughly 40% of its buildings were constructed pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s. The predominant housing types in this neighborhood are single detached homes and row houses. Roughly three quarters of the population of this neighborhood own their home while renters make up the remainder. This neighborhood also has a variety of housing size options - properties range from lofts to four or more bedrooms.

It is a short walk to access primary schools from most homes for sale in Crestwood. However, there are no high schools in this area. When it comes to food, it is straightforward to get to the nearest supermarket on foot from most properties for sale in Crestwood.

Crestwood is an extraordinarily good part of Portland for getting around by car. The majority of real estate listings are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Baldock Freeway, and it is especially convenient to find a place to park. However, the public transit service in this part of the city is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not especially conducive to walking since meeting daily needs is at times challenging.
