Although this part of Baltimore does not contain any green spaces, parks are especially well-situated in nearby neighborhoods, which makes it easy to reach them. Finally, this part of the city is relatively calm, as there are very few pedestrians.

In Curtis Bay Industrial Area, about 70% of buildings are townhouses, and the remaining dwellings are mainly duplexes. A majority of the housing growth in this part of the city took place pre-1960. However this neighborhood is particularly good for those looking for two bedroom homes. About all of the dwellings in the neighborhood are occupied by renters while the rest are occupied by owners.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Curtis Bay Industrial Area. Concerning food, it is easy to access the nearest grocery store by walking in this neighborhood.
