Don Scott, Columbus

The neighborhood of Don Scott can be found in the city of Columbus, Ohio.

Don Scott can be relatively noisy, since during rush hour, traffic can occasionally be bothersome, and there can also be much noise from businesses. Green spaces aren't well-situated, making it occasionally difficult to reach them from many locations within this area. Despite that, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighborhoods.

In Don Scott, most of the dwellings are large apartment buildings, and the remaining houses are mainly small apartment buildings and single detached homes. Around one third of properties in this area were constructed since the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s. This neighborhood has a choice of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The proportions of home owners and renters are about even.

Property buyers will appreciate that wherever their home is situated in Don Scott, primary schools are close by. In contrast, this neighborhood does not have any high schools. In terms of eating, the nearest supermarket in this neighborhood is generally only a reasonably short walk away. There are also around 20 restaurants and coffee shops in Don Scott.

A car is a great medium of transportation in this neighborhood. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and finding a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, the public transit network in this part of Columbus is not very accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not especially far from most properties. Don Scott is not very conducive to traveling on foot because few daily errands can be run without having to use a car.
