There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in English Park. Public green spaces, including English Park, are especially well-located and there are a few of them close by for residents to discover, which makes it easy to get to them. It remains relatively quiet in this area, due to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets.
Around half of homes in English Park were built pre-1960, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s. The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character. Roughly two thirds of the dwellings in the neighborhood are occupied by renters and one third are occupied by owners. On the other hand, public transit riders may have limited choices in English Park due to the infrequent service. This neighborhood is not very suitable for traveling on foot since few daily needs can be carried out by walking.
