Fairway Acres, Atlanta

The neighborhood of Fairway Acres is located within the city of Atlanta, Georgia.

Fairway Acres is a fairly good neighborhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. This area is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Lastly, although the neighborhood is not home to any parks, green spaces are especially well-located in nearby neighborhoods, making it easy to get to them.

The large proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Fairway Acres is an important part of its character. About half of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 2000s. This part of the city is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around three quarters of the units in the neighborhood are occupied by home owners whereas the remainder are rented.

Fairway Acres does not have any high schools or primary schools. In terms of eating, it is infrequently practical for property owners in this part of the city to shop for groceries on foot.

Fairway Acres is very car friendly. Parking is easy. On the other hand, getting around by transit can be difficult in this part of Atlanta due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Traveling on foot is not very convenient for house buyers in Fairway Acres as very few daily errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.
