This area is reasonably good for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor - although that is not the case around Nimitz Freeway. Finally, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to explore and they are especially well-located, making it easy to get to them.

The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Glenmoor is an important part of its character. This neighborhood has quite a good variety of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around 60% of the properties in the neighborhood are occupied by home owners while the remainder are rented. A majority of the housing growth in this neighborhood occurred in the 1960s and 1970s.
