Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Grand Sunrise. Although Grand Sunrise does not contain any parks, public green spaces are especially well-situated in nearby neighborhoods, making them easy to reach from a large number of locations within the neighborhood. Lastly, this part of the city remains relatively quiet, since there are few pedestrians; however there can be higher levels of noise for those who are around the railway line.

About 55% of the dwellings are single detached homes, making it easy to find detached homes in Grand Sunrise, and the remaining houses are mainly small apartment buildings. Most houses for sale in this neighborhood are located in places that are suitable for walking; most daily errands can be run without having to use a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby.
