The city is the site of both the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400 auto races, which are the two largest single-day sporting events in the world! Don’t worry if racing isn’t your thing, though. Numerous professional athletic teams call Indy home, including the Indianapolis Colts (football), Pacers (basketball) and Indians (minor league baseball).
