Irvington is a township situated in the New York - Newark metropolitan area, which is part of New Jersey, United States.

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Irvington. It is easy to get to parks in the township since there are a few of them close by for residents to visit. Lastly, quiet areas can be found throughout many sections of the township, although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to the railway line, Lightning Division Memorial Highway or Interstate 78.
