Lincolnshire, Louisville

Lincolnshire is a neighborhood within Louisville, Kentucky.

Lincolnshire is very quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Public green spaces aren't well-situated, making it occasionally difficult to reach them from the majority of locations in Lincolnshire. Still, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighborhoods.

Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing about two thirds of the dwellings in Lincolnshire, and large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Around 40% of homes in this area were constructed pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s. This neighborhood has quite a good variety of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Home owners occupy around three quarters of the properties in Lincolnshire while the remainder are rented.

It is a very short walk to get to primary schools from most homes for sale in this part of the city. However, there are no high schools in this part of Louisville. With respect to eating, the closest supermarket in Lincolnshire is typically only a reasonably short walk away.

Driving is usually the best transportation option in Lincolnshire. It is especially convenient to park, and most properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, Lincolnshire is not very transit friendly. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this neighborhood, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient by walking.
