Milo-Grogan, Columbus

The neighborhood of Milo-Grogan is located in the city of Columbus, Ohio.

Milo-Grogan offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy. Although this neighborhood does not contain any parks, green spaces are very well-situated in nearby neighborhoods, making it easy to get to them. This part of Columbus is relatively quiet, due to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, although noise levels are higher closer to one of the railway lines, Northeast Freeway or North Freeway.

Milo-Grogan experienced its most significant housing boom pre-1960, so most of the available properties are from this time period. The predominant housing types in this part of the city are single detached homes and townhouses. Roughly 70% of the properties in the neighborhood are occupied by renters while owners occupy the remainder. This neighborhood also has a variety of housing size options; it is quite easy to find homes ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to reach on foot from most homes for sale in Milo-Grogan. Concerning food, the nearest grocery store in Milo-Grogan is usually only a reasonably short walk away. Moreover, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities, and residents are served by a few cafes as well.

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Milo-Grogan. Nearby highways, such as Freeway, are very easy to drive to from any home in this neighborhood, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, getting around by public transit is sometimes challenging in this part of the city. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. Walking in this part of the cityis not very common, despite the fact that many daily errands can be run without the use of a car.
