Milo-Grogan offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy. Although this neighborhood does not contain any parks, green spaces are very well-situated in nearby neighborhoods, making it easy to get to them. This part of Columbus is relatively quiet, due to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, although noise levels are higher closer to one of the railway lines, Northeast Freeway or North Freeway.

Milo-Grogan experienced its most significant housing boom pre-1960, so most of the available properties are from this time period. The predominant housing types in this part of the city are single detached homes and townhouses. This neighborhood also has a variety of housing size options; it is quite easy to find homes ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
