Montbello, Denver

The neighborhood of Montbello is situated in the city of Denver, Colorado.

Montbello offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are around 20 parks close by for residents to discover, such as Montbello Central Park, which makes them very easy to reach. This part of Denver is also quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor - although that is not the case near the railway line, US Highway 36 or Interstate 70.

The housing stock of Montbello is composed predominantly of single detached homes and row houses. This part of Denver has quite a good selection of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Home owners occupy roughly 60% of the properties in Montbello while the rest are rented. Around half of the homes in this area were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s.

It is a rather short walk to access both primary and secondary schools from most houses for sale in this area. Locals have the option of public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level. Regarding food, some, but not all, house buyers in this part of Denver will reside within walking distance of one of approximately 10 grocery stores. There are also a few choices for those who cherish nearby restaurants and cafes.

Montbello is very car friendly. It is convenient to find a parking spot, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as US Highway 36. However, commuting by transit can be challenging in Montbello as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Denver are located in areas that are not very convenient for walking since very few daily errands can be run on foot.
