Located within the Tampa - St. Petersburg metropolitan area, Northeast is a neighborhood within New Port Richey, Florida.
The character of Northeast is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Although the neighborhood does not contain any green spaces, parks are especially well-spread out in nearby neighborhoods, making them easy to get to. This neighborhood is also excellent for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.
In Northeast, about 45% of the dwellings are small apartment buildings, whereas the rest are mainly large apartment buildings and single detached homes. The median year of construction for houses in this neighborhood is 1982. There is a higher proportion of two bedroom homes in this area. Roughly three quarters of the units in the neighborhood are occupied by renters whereas owners occupy the remainder.
House buyers in Northeast usually have to use a vehicle to travel to the closest supermarket. Nevertheless, it is generally a rather short walk to the nearest pharmacy, which can provide some basic food items. When it comes to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Northeast.
This part of the city is reasonably car friendly. It is especially convenient to park. In contrast, Northeast is not very conducive to traveling on foot because most daily needs are at times challenging to carry out by walking.
