The township of Ozark, Missouri is located in the Springfield MO metropolitan area.

Ozark is excellent for those who enjoy quiet areas, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. It is very hard to get to public green spaces from a large number of locations in the township since they are distributed sparsely. Despite that, there are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in.

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Ozark is an important part of its character. This part of the Springfield MO metropolitan area also has a variety of housing sizes; properties range from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About 70% of the population of this township own their home and 30% are renters.
