The neighborhood of Polaris South is located in the city of Columbus, Ohio.

Polaris South offers a slower-paced environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of the city is good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to check out, including Lazelle Woods Park, and they are especially well-spread out, which results in them being easy to reach from most locations in Polaris South.

In Polaris South, around 40% of buildings are single detached homes, while large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This part of Columbus offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Roughly 60% of the population of this neighborhood rent their home whereas owners make up the remainder. A majority of the housing growth in this area has taken place since the year 2000.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Polaris South. With respect to eating, the closest supermarket in this part of the city is typically only a reasonably short walk away. The best mode of transportation in this neighborhood is usually driving. The majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is easy. In contrast, the public transit network in Polaris South is not very convenient. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighborhood, and bus stops are not particularly far-removed from most properties. This part of Columbus is not especially suitable for walking since few common errands can be run on foot.
