The neighborhood of Pomona Park is situated within the city of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pomona Park is a fairly good neighborhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, although this part of the city is not home to any parks, public green spaces are especially well-spread out in nearby neighborhoods, which makes it easy to reach them.

Small apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing roughly half of buildings in Pomona Park, and the rest of the dwellings are mainly large apartment buildings and single detached homes. This neighborhood has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around 95% of the population of this neighborhood rent their home and 5% are owners. A majority of the housing growth in this neighborhood took place between 1960 and 1980.

Home buyers will welcome that wherever their house is situated in this neighborhood, primary schools are close by. On the other hand, Pomona Park does not contain any high schools. In terms of eating, it is very easy to access the closest supermarket on foot from most houses for sale in this part of the city. In addition, a coffee shop is typically a reasonably short stroll away.

Physically active property owners will enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly nature of Pomona Park; many daily errands can be run on foot. The public transit network in Pomona Park is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. In contrast, driving is an excellent mode of transportation in this part of Atlanta. Most homes for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to come across a parking spot.
