Raleigh, Memphis

The neighborhood of Raleigh is situated in the city of Memphis, Tennessee.

Home buyers who prefer a calm ambience will enjoy Raleigh. Most areas in this part of Memphis are quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor - although that is not the case around one of the railway lines or Interstate 40. Lastly, accessing green spaces, like Pierotti Park and John F Kennedy Park, is easy from most locations in the neighborhood and there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to unwind in.

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing about 60% of the dwellings in Raleigh, and the remaining properties are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings. This part of Memphis has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The population residing in this area is evenly split between owners and renters. Most of the housing growth in this neighborhood took place in the 1960s and 1970s.

Locals will welcome that wherever their property is located in Raleigh, primary schools are close by. On the other hand, it can be difficult to get to high schools as a pedestrian. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
