Rosedale Heights, Atlanta

The neighborhood of Rosedale Heights is situated in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.

Rosedale Heights offers a relaxed environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to visit, such as Rosel Fann Park, and they are especially well-distributed, which makes it easy to get to them. The noise levels in this area are also reasonably low, as the streets are usually peaceful.

Roughly 60% of the properties in Rosedale Heights were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 2000s. In this area, about 45% of the dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest of the homes are mainly large apartment buildings. Roughly two thirds of the dwellings in the neighborhood are occupied by renters and one third are occupied by owners. This neighborhood also has a good selection of housing size options; it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.

It is a reasonably short walk to reach primary schools from most properties for sale in Rosedale Heights. In contrast, Rosedale Heights does not contain any high schools. Concerning food, it is often feasible for home buyers in this part of the city to shop for their groceries on foot.

This part of Atlanta is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to access a place to park, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from any location in Rosedale Heights. On the other hand, this area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, home owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. Most houses for sale in this part of Atlanta are located in places that are not very suitable for traveling on foot because very few daily errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.
