The neighborhood of Saint Joseph is located in the city of Louisville, Kentucky.

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Saint Joseph. Reaching green spaces, including Eastern Parkway, is very easy from most locations in the neighborhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in. This area is relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians, although there can be higher levels of noise for those who are around one of the railway lines or Interstate 65.

A majority of the housing growth in Saint Joseph happened before the 1960s. In this part of the city, about two thirds of buildings are single detached homes, whereas the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. This part of the city also has a variety of unit sizes - it is quite easy to find houses ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
