Southeast, Arlington

The neighborhood of Southeast is located in the city of Arlington, Texas.

People who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Southeast. It is easy to reach public green spaces from many locations within the neighborhood and there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out. Most areas in this area are quiet, as the streets are generally reasonably calm - although there are still several noisier sections, especially close to Interstate 20 or the airport (Arlington Municipal Airport).

Home owners occupy around 80% of the dwellings in Southeast whereas renters occupy the remainder. The predominant housing types in this neighborhood are single detached homes and row houses. The average year of construction for dwellings in this part of the city is 1997. There is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this area.

A supermarket is generally reachable within a rather short walk from anywhere in this part of Arlington. Residents benefit from over 100 restaurants and coffee shops as well. With regards to education, both primary and secondary schools are easy to get to on foot from most properties for sale in Southeast. Residents have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level.

Driving is a great mode of transportation in Southeast. Accessing a parking spot is easy. This part of Arlington is not particularly bicycling-friendly as there are a good number of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor. Many of the houses for sale in this neighborhood are located in areas that are also not very suitable for traveling on foot since meeting daily needs is challenging.
