Spring Park, Jacksonville

The neighborhood of Spring Park is situated in the city of Jacksonville, Florida.

Spring Park offers an extensive selection of green spaces to enjoy. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit and they are especially well-situated, making it easy to reach them. Finally, since there are few pedestrians, this neighborhood is relatively quiet, although noise levels are higher closer to Interstate 95 or the railway line.

Most housing in Spring Park was constructed before the 1960s, during its latest housing boom. In this area, most of the dwellings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings. About two thirds of the population of this neighborhood rent their home while owners make up the remainder. This neighborhood has quite a good variety of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.

It is very often an option for property owners in Spring Park to shop for groceries by walking. A small variety of restaurants and cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, in Spring Park, locals will generally be able to reach both primary and secondary schools on foot.

This area is an extraordinarily good part of Jacksonville for getting around by car. Accessing a place to park is easy, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Interstate 95, from any location in this area. In contrast, Spring Park is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighborhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Walking in Spring Park is not very common, despite the fact that running day-to-day errands is easy.
