Although this part of Baltimore does not contain any parks, parks are especially well-located in nearby neighborhoods, which makes them easy to access. Lastly, thanks to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, this neighborhood is relatively quiet; however noise levels are higher closer to the railway line or Interstate 95.

Around two thirds of the units in the neighborhood are occupied by home owners while renters occupy the remainder. In this area, many of the dwellings are townhouses, while large apartment buildings and single detached homes make up most of the remaining housing stock.
